Examiner writer Mark Hemingway was cleaning his bathroom last night when his phone lit up with breathless calls from his friends telling him that he had just been mentioned on ’30 Rock.’
Jack Donaghy (played by Alec Baldwin) mocked Liz Lemon, Tina Fey’s character, saying that she sounds just like Hemingway.
“Mark Hemingway, that is.”
“Yes. I was mentioned by name on 30 Rock tonight.” tweeted Hemingway in response to several inquires, “So utterly bizarre… but I guess I have arrived?”
We’re not really sure if they meant to highlight our recent hire to the Opinion page, but we at the Washington Examiner consider it a honor to be panned by Alec Baldwin.
