Turns out that a James Mahoney employed by the Bank of America gave $1000 to the DSCC in 2010. I’m not 100% sure this is the same James Mahoney, but I’ll update this post shortly.
Also, according to FEC reports, a James E. Mahoney, connected with the Bank of America donated $1000 to John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, Chris Dodd, and Barney Frank.

Update: According to Ben Smith, Mahoney is a veteran Boston Democrat — and Kennedy aide — who is not a lobbyist but does policy for the Bank of America.
