On “The Daily Show” Monday night, comedian Jon Stewart celebrated the new scrutiny on the Internal Revenue Service.
“Sucks to get audited, doesn’t it?” Stewart said, debuting a show segment called “Where’s your receipts, a$$hole?”
Stewart featured the recently exposed $1,600 IRS “Cupid Dance” video.
“How the f–k did that cost $1,600?” he asked, “Did the guy recording it drop his iPhone three times?”
Stewart also featured the $60,000 “Star Trek” spoof video created for the IRS and the $50 million spent on conferences in three years.
“You know what? I don’t care, IRS, if you kept the receipts,” Stewart said. “Even if the conferences were for a legitimate business expense, it’s not a legitimate business expense!”
