Sen. Tom Coburn tells Bloomberg that Republicans should “probably” make a deal on the budget. Coming from Coburn, who has been a conservative stalwart on both spending and social issues, it’s another sign that things are trending toward an argeement.
“It’s pretty unrealistic to think with this president that you’re going to get a lot of riders,” Bloomberg quoted Coburn as saying, an apparent reference to the GOP amendment to defund Planned Parenthood.
