The Republican candidates last night got more tough questions from Byron York, Susan Ferrechio, Bret Baier, and Chris Wallace last night than President Obama has gotten from the mainstream media in three years.
Still, had I been at the table, I would have asked some questions that didn’t get asked or didn’t get asked of enough candidate. I’m sure you would have to. Below are my top four. In the comments please add your own.
1) Neither Medicare nor Social Security can pay for themselves, and their deficits will balloon in coming years. What would you do with these unsustainable programs?
2) The federal government mandates the use of ethanol, and subsidizes its production and sale. Would you continue, end, or change these policies? How?
3) What would you have our military and State Department do regarding Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya?)
4) Name some federal agencies or programs, NOT created by Obama, that you would end.
