Gibbs assures LOST fans that State of the Union speech won’t interfere with premiere

Rest easy LOST fans. White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs has heard your cry and will make sure that the President doesn’t upset the premiere of the television show’s final season.

CBS White House correspondent Mark Knoller was among the first to spread the news via his Twitter account: “WH spksmn Robt Gibbs assures Obama won’t pre-empt 3-hr premiere of final season of “Lost” with State of the Union” he tweeted Friday afternoon.

I guess that will make the nearly 4,000 person Facebook group “Americans Against the State of the Union on the Same Night as LOST” happy.

I’m guessing CSPAN fans are feeling left out though. . . .
