Kandahar Police Chief Brigadier General Khan Mohammad Mujahid was killed Friday in a suicide attack at his headquarters in the provincial capital.

The suicide bomber was disguised as a policeman when he entered the highly secured building, gaining access to Mujahid’s office.  He detonated his suicide vest, hidden in his uniform, which led to numerous critical injuries of other officers in the area, according to reports in Afghanistan.
