ABC News reports:
Obama said that the new commitment to clean energy could lead to more than 800,000 new jobs by 2012.
Aside from the fact that it’s just not true — the Spanish have already discovered this the hard, expensive way — haven’t we had enough of bogus stimulus job numbers with bogus deadlines? It’s not wise politically for Obama to say such things. I can already see the ads that will run when the jobs don’t materialize. Doesn’t he care about getting re-elected?
