On Wednesday, President Trump signed an executive order to end family separation for undocumented immigrants detained by border patrol agents for crossing into the country illegally. However, the week before, Trump said explicitly told reporters that he could not fix the problem through executive order and that the issue needed to be dealt with in Congress.
