The Pentagon is holding a press conference as the war between Israel and Hamas continues to rage in Gaza, with tensions in the Middle East remaining high.
Deputy Pentagon press secretary Sabrina Singh will take questions beginning at 1 p.m.

Tensions in the Middle East were heightened earlier this week when Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh was killed in Iran. The press conference also comes a day after the United States secured the release of 16 prisoners in Russia.
