Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) claimed that not only are more men and women enlisting in the U.S. Armed Forces since President Donald Trump took office, but more are staying on to continue their military service.

The Army reported “the most productive December in 15 years,” with 346 soldiers enlisted every day. Each military branch met its respective recruitment goal for the previous fiscal year, then the Army reached its recruitment goal for the 2025 fiscal year four months early. This came at a critical moment for the military, which had a recruitment deficit of about 42,000.
