War Secretary Pete Hegseth and Gen. Dan Caine, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, are giving updates on the U.S.-Israeli war with Iran at a press briefing.
The press conference is scheduled to start on Friday at 8 a.m.
The press conference will be the first since the United States confirmed the deaths early Friday morning of four airmen after a KC-135 Stratotanker refueling aircraft crashed in Iraq. U.S. Central Command said the crash wasn’t due to hostile or friendly fire.

The two military leaders have provided frequent updates on Operation Epic Fury since it began on Feb. 28. The operation has been the most intensive air campaign of the 21st century, with initial estimates of roughly 1,000 sorties per day.
