Mark Pryor, the Arkansas Democrat running for reelection to the Senate next year, said job losses as a result of the downturn in the economy are “just part of being in a capitalist economy.” Watch the video of Pryor’s recent remarks to the Arkansas state chamber of commerce and the Associated Industries of Arkansas:
“I know we’ve had some losses, we get that,” said Pryor. “The economy changes, we understand that. We look at certain areas and we see some of the losses and that’s just part of being in a capitalist economy and this global economy that we’re in.”
Pryor also recently said that Obamacare has been an “amazing success story” so far in Arkansas.
