Hmm. Mark Zandi is predicting boom times.
Given that Go-To Guy Zandi’s predictions about the economy are just about unfailingly wrong – as Andrew Ferguson has memorably documented– this is a seriously grim omen. Zandi’s optimism, then, is a good, if depressing, reason to buy into what James Pethokoukis calls the “Gloomiest thing I’ve ever posted.”
