A majority of Americans approve of how President Trump’s has handled the economy, a new poll says.

According to a CNN survey conducted by SSRS, 56% of Americans approve of the economy with Trump in the White House. The number marks a high in comparison to other CNN polls from earlier this year, which showed 48% approved in February and 51% approved in March.

“This is the highest number we have ever seen in CNN polling,” CNN’s political director David Chalian said Thursday morning. “Look at this. That 56% if you stack it up historically, it’s the high watermark in the entirety of the Trump presidency in CNN polling we have not seen him have that big of an approval rating on the economy.”
