Ernst says DOGE initiative isn’t a ‘passing fancy’

Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) has insisted that the Department of Government Efficiency‘s mission to cut down massively on government spending isn’t just “a passing fancy.”

Ernst made the remarks during an episode of the podcast Standpoint with Gabe Groisman, which was released on Tuesday. The senator created the Senate DOGE Caucus shortly after President Donald Trump was elected.
