Contest being held for girls pursuing STEM career

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Virginia officials are holding an essay contest for female high school students who plan to pursue a career in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

The 3rd annual contest for high school junior and senior girls is being co-chaired by Gov. Terry McAuliffe and first lady Dorothy McAuliffe.
