VaTech facility won’t be built at Stadium Woods

BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) — A proposed indoor football practice center won’t be built on part of Virginia Tech’s woodland area called Stadium Woods.

Virginia Tech officials said Tuesday that President Charles Steger has accepted a recommendation to find a new location for the athletic facility outside of the nearly 14-acre woods.
