Ga. man bequeaths $1M to Liberty University

LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP) — A $1 million donation to Liberty University will be used to fund scholarships for students pursuing missions work.

Liberty says in a news release that the donation came from a Georgia man who died in October 2011 at the age of 82. The man named the university as the main beneficiary in his will.
