ROANOKE, Va. (AP) — Virginia Western Community College and Bluefield State College are partnering to help students who want careers in business.
Virginia Western says in a news release that the schools signed an articulation agreement Tuesday.
Bluefield State will guarantee admission in bachelor of science business programs for Virginia Western students who earn associate of applied science degrees in these programs. The programs include business administration, and accounting and business management.
Virginia Western students who earn a 3.0 grade-point average will be eligible for scholarships from Bluefield State. The scholarships will allow them to pay in-state tuition to attend the West Virginia school.
