SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — Students in more Sioux Falls schools could soon be reciting the Pledge of Allegiance each day, though the expansion might not be as broad as desired by an Army veteran pushing for the change.
Students at elementary schools in the district recite the Pledge of Allegiance every morning. At middle schools and high schools, the pledge or some other patriotic activity takes place only during school-wide assemblies. Veteran James Booman wants the pledge recited daily at all schools.
