Bernie Sanders stops short of condemning Ilhan Omar for criticism of Jewish students

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) had very little to say about Rep. Ilhan Omar suggesting some Jewish students at Columbia University “are pro-genocide.”

Sanders appeared on State of the Union on Sunday to rail against the pro-Palestinian protesters across the country who are using rhetoric that is criticized for being antisemitic. While he referred to some comments as “disgusting and stupid,” he tiptoed around the comments Omar made while visiting Columbia University.
