Workers who want to switch careers and begin a life in teaching can start by attending a job fair this weekend hosted by Baltimore County Public Schools.
At the “Career Changers” job fair, applicants can learn about available job opportunities, find out about the county curriculum, submit information about themselves and learn about the application process. Interviews will not be conducted but may be scheduled for a later time.
The fair is open to anyone interested in teaching math, science, special education, English or Spanish.
The event will be held in Towson from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 10 at Loch Raven High School, 1212 Cowpens Ave. The snow date is Jan. 24.
