Virginia Tech gets nearly $1M research grant

BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) — Virginia Tech has received a nearly $1 million research grant from the National Science Foundation.

The Blacksburg school says the three-year, $999,531 award will be used to increase the efficiency of laboratory processes that make custom DNA molecules using industrial engineering.
