BALTIMORE (AP) — If Morgan State University had been more open about previous concerns raised about Alex Kinyua, the man Kinyua is accused of attacking at a campus apartment says he might have avoided the engineering student and dodged an attack that left him partially blind.
Joshua Ceasar’s friends told him they found Kinyua standing over Ceasar with a knife — something that took on new meaning days later when Kinyua told authorities he ate the heart and brains of a family friend he is charged with killing.
A university spokesman says if the school believed someone posed a danger, he or she would be removed from campus.
Almost three weeks after the attack, Ceasar says he still has not heard from anyone with the university, which has been tightlipped.
