KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (AP) — A task force made up of ranchers, the Klamath Tribes and others is wrapping up work on recommendations to end decades of conflicts over water in the Upper Klamath Basin.
Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber, U.S. Sens. Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley, and a representative of the Obama administration are to join the task force Wednesday at the Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls to announce an agreement in principle.
