Springfield (Ill.) Journal-Register: DOE environmental review favors carbon-storage plan

The FutureGen 2.0 carbon-storage project in Morgan County, Ill., should go ahead with support from $1 billion in federal funding, the U.S. Department of Energy concludes in a final environmental study released Wednesday.
