October Supplemental Security Income payments, worth up to $967, will be issued to recipients in one day on Wednesday, Oct. 1.

Most SSI payments are issued on the first of every month, including October. The following November payment, however, will be issued on Oct. 31, since Nov. 1 falls on a weekend this year.
