November Social Security direct payment worth $967 goes out today

November Supplemental Security Income payments, worth up to $967, will be issued to recipients today.

While most SSI payments are issued on the first of every month, November payments will be issued the day before November starts, since Nov. 1 falls on a weekend this year. When the first of a month falls on either a weekend or holiday, SSI payments are issued on the last day of the month that isn’t a weekend.
