Trump picks Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg to serve as special envoy for Ukraine-Russia

President-elect Donald Trump named retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg as his Ukraine-Russia envoy, and he will be tasked with trying to secure a negotiated end to the nearly three-year war.

The president-elect has said he wants to see Russia’s war in Ukraine come to an end, and the Biden administration has sought to give Ukraine a boost on the battlefield to improve its negotiating position ahead of time.
