Delegations for the United States and Ukraine are slated to meet on Sunday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to continue discussing the ceasefire proposal for the Russia-Ukraine war.

Both countries confirmed earlier this week that ceasefire negotiations would continue in the Middle East, with Russia also expected to participate. That confirmation followed a promising phone call between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the White House expressing that an end to the war that has entered its third year has “never been closer.”
