VIDEO: New poll shows waning support for Obamacare

Just as the Affordable Care Act’s second open enrollment period begins, a new Gallup poll out Monday shows only 37 percent of Americans approve of the law — which brings its approval rating to an all-time low.

The previous low was 38 percent in January of this year, while the disapproval rating for the ACA is at an all-time high of 56 percent.

There is a stark contrast in approval of the unpopular law between parties. Seventy-four percent of Democrats approve with just eight percent of the GOP approving. Independents are at a 33 percent approval rating for the healthcare law.
