An American Ebola patient’s condition has moved from serious to critical, according to the National Institutes of Health, which runs the Maryland facility where the patient is being treated.
The unidentified healthcare worker volunteered in Sierra Leone, where he or she is believed to have contracted the virus.
The patient arrived at the Bethesda, Md., facility last week. The NIH did not disclose any further details on the condition.
