First human bird flu case in Oregon: What to know

One person has been infected with the H5N1 bird flu in Oregon, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed on Friday. 

The report is connected to an outbreak that affected roughly 150,000 birds at a commercial poultry facility in Clackamas County.
