Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Administrator Mehmet Oz will hold a press conference at 2:45 p.m. Monday.
The two administration officials are expected to deliver an announcement related to health insurance.
The announcement comes after Democratic lawmakers sent a letter to the Trump administration, demanding that it stop sharing data of Medicaid enrollees with the Department of Homeland Security. The data, which includes immigration status, can be used to help DHS find illegal immigrants.
