The first case of Ebola in the United States has been confirmed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
CNBC and Reuters reported the CDC’s confirmation Tuesday afternoon. Few details were publicly available pending a press conference by the CDC.
Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas said it was holding a patient in “strict isolation” for evaluation for possible Ebola, WFAA-TV reported.
