Texas Gov. Rick Perry announced a task force to fight Ebola on Monday as the first U.S. patient continues to fight for his life inside a Dallas hospital.
Perry announced the Texas Task Force on Infectious Disease Preparedness and Response to quell fears of an Ebola outbreak. The task force will assist local and state governments on how to respond to the Ebola outbreak while also provide recommendations on how to combat the disease.
President Obama was set to meet with his national security team Monday afternoon to get an update on the disease.
