He hasn’t even offered his compromise to win funding for a border wall, but now President Trump’s immigration policy supporters are joining Democrats in blasting the expected compromise.
The Center for Immigration Studies called Trump’s plan to trade extended protections for DACA for wall funding an “embarrassing surrender.”

Reports indicate that Trump today plans to trade extended protections for “Dreamers” for $5.7 billion in border wall funding.
But the groups, which advocate for tight immigration policies, said instead that Trump is offering a green light to illegal immigration.
