Senator Jeff Sessions, a Republican from Alabama, defended presidential candidate Ted Cruz at a rally last night in Alabama:
“Let me tell you, I was there every step of the way,” Sessions says of the 2013 immigration bill. “Ted Cruz was on my side, fought this legislation all the way through.”
Sessions went on to say that this election will decide the immigration laws (and whether they are even enforced) going forward.
