Sen. Ted Cruz echoed Donald Trump Sunday when he expressed his support for ending birthright citizenship for the children of illegal immigrants.

“I think birthright citizenship as a policy matter doesn’t make sense,” the Texas Republican said on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”
