President Trump isn’t the only one who sometimes tries to calm down son Donald Trump Jr.’s tweets. So does his sister, Ivanka Trump.
At a party to celebrate Trump Jr.’s No. 1-selling book Triggered, he expanded on a story that he doesn’t usually listen to his dad’s counsel on tweeting considering the president’s own habits. “I will listen to you on many, many things, but on this one, you have ceded the moral high ground.”
Ivanka responded, “Well, then I get, ‘Ivanka, your brother’s getting a little hot on Twitter.’” …
Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson embraces his inner nerd. A former businessman who had staff draw up weekly sales reports, he now gets reports on his top Senate issues, including immigration. In fact, over the past four years, he has drawn up his own monthly chart of children who have entered the country illegally. “My chart,” he calls it. And to make sure it gets attention from the media, he adopted a business gimmick. “I actually went so far as putting it on a cup so that I could distribute it to the news media so that they wouldn’t just take my sheet and throw it away,” he said. …

The “fastest-growing” Jewish group in the United States, the Israeli-American Council, has snagged President Trump for a first-time address next month. The 12-year-old group is meeting in Hollywood, Florida, and says there will be 4,000 members at the Dec. 7 event. …
