Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders met Wednesday in Miami for another Democratic debate.
Hosted by Univision and carried on CNN, the debate centered mostly around immigration. Clinton and Sanders, who took questions from moderators as well as members of the audience, debated border security concerns while trying to assure voters they wouldn’t break up families who had undocumented members in jeopardy of being deported. During one portion of the debate, an audience member asked both candidates what they would do to protect her family after her husband had recently been deported. Both candidates told the woman their policies would protect families from losing loved ones to deportation.
Other topics discussed included the candidate’s voting records and Clinton’s ongoing email scandal.
