Oklahoma state superintendent pledges to work with Trump immigration policies

Ryan Walters, the Oklahoma state superintendent of public instruction, is standing by President Donald Trump‘s immigration policies at the risk of separating children from their families.

This comes after the Oklahoma Board of Education unanimously approved a measure requiring families to verify their children’s citizenship when enrolling them in school. It was discussed for 20 minutes before its approval.
