The Trump administration laid off employees from three internal Department of Homeland Security offices, accusing them of obstructing immigration enforcement.
The “Reduction in Force” applied to the Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, the Office of the Immigration Detention Ombudsman, and the Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman.
