The Department of Homeland Security published a list of more than 500 “sanctuary jurisdictions” across the country that it says are obstructing federal immigration enforcement, in line with President Donald Trump’s mass deportation agenda.
Each jurisdiction will receive a notice stating that the government considers it noncompliant with immigration law and may be violating federal criminal statutes, according to the department. The list was published on the DHS website.
