VIDEO: FBI Director James Comey talks police, race relations

FBI Director James Comey tackled police and race relations head-on Thursday morning during a speech at Georgetown University.

Comey said that a key to strengthening relationships between police officers and the communities they patrol is by getting officers into communities to interact with local citizens.

Comey added there are hard truths facing the FBI right now, including the unconscious racial bias that both police officers and minority groups have. He said that both police and minority groups must approach each other with the same level of respect.
