WASHINGTON (AP) — The top Republican on the Senate Intelligence Committee is not taking sides in a dispute between the panel’s Democratic chairwoman and the nation’s spy agency, saying the facts are not yet known.
Sen. Saxby Chambliss of Georgia said in brief remarks on the Senate floor Wednesday evening that a special investigator may have to be appointed to discover what happened.
