House Democrats accuse intelligence officials of lying in Signal chat fiasco

Multiple House Democrats accused top intelligence community leaders of lying to the public about the information transmitted over the Signal app regarding U.S. military operations.

CIA Director John Ratcliffe and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard testified Wednesday in front of the House Intelligence Committee for an annual hearing regarding worldwide threats, making them the first and, so far, only officials involved in the chat to take questions from lawmakers publicly about the subject.
