WATCH LIVE: Joshua Rudd faces Senate in confirmation hearing to be NSA head

Lt. Gen. Joshua Rudd will appear before a Senate committee for a confirmation hearing to be the National Security Agency head on Monday at 3 p.m. 

The NSA has been without a leader since last April after President Donald Trump fired Gen. Timothy Haugh following a meeting with right-wing activist Laura Loomer.

Rudd previously served as deputy commander at the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command.

If confirmed, Rudd will also lead U.S. Cyber Command.
