The worldwide CrowdStrike outage affecting Microsoft Windows computers wreaked havoc on airlines Friday, but the outage has also caused problems for various other industries from the government to the media.
CrowdStrike said in a statement that the problem has been “identified, isolated and a fix has been deployed” and stressed that it was not the result of a hack or security breach.
